I don’t get why people just simply don’t read.

I mean, you can’t get the same connection with films or TV that you can with a book. With films etc you only see what is already there, you can’t see more than that because it is ready created. With a book, however, your brain makes up this fantasy world, and a million people could read the same description and get a different image each.

You can’t connect as strongly to a visible character because they’re not yours, they’re pre recorded, they’re someone else’s interpretation. In a book they’re yours, how you picture them, how you imagine them.

I don’t understand how people can pass up that opportunity. Read, people, it’ll be the best thing you ever do!

I was walking up Stanhope Avenue today. I noticed that all the houses were very normal and samey, except for one that had so many Union Jack flags draped around the garden one can only assume they’re actually related to the Queen. 

On an unrelated note, the postman keeps bringing us redirected mail for a guy who used to live in Silkstone. I do not know who the man is, but he definitely does not live at this address. It is most annoying.

My little brother got into outer space and stuff so my step-mom bought him a place mat with all the planets on it. When I first saw it, I was upset, because it was newer and so Pluto wasn’t labeled. I was about to say something when I noticed something…
